Lemsteraak Visserman:
Already during the construction (2001-2004) of the 10.50 meter Lemsteraak Visserman the goal was a high quality build ship. Nowhere is cut, in detail was chosen the best components and materials. For each line there is a winch. Light control by hydraulic steering with wheel. Easy to sail with two people. By the self tacking boomjib the ship effortlessly tacks. For those who still like to sail with the forejib is it easy to replace. Jib and bowsprit with travelers are supplied separately.
The hull was built at shipyard De Boeier in Makkum. Then the hull is sandblasted by Nauta in Heeg. Then the hull is entirely painted in epoxy two-component system Veenstra painters in Heeg. Engine, propeller, thrust bearing, hydraulic steering, heating, shore power etc. are installed in Koudum Thermopilae. Blokmakerij Ording has rigged ship and delivered blocks and spars. The interior woodwork is made at high level by the current owner. There are inventive choices that makes stays on the ship even more enjoyable. For example the beautiful teak removable shutters over the entrance and kitchen. The ship’s maintenance is easy. Steering cockpit is self-draining. Mid cockpit discharges in central bilge leaving much dry storage space under the cockpit floor. The owner tells you more about the ship during an inspection.
