About the Wever Explorer 70

Wever Explorer 70

Easy to sail with a small crew or single handed, but also with 9 people.
Suitable for falling dry without support.
Anchoring on shallow water with a spud pole 3 meters deep.
Sailing on shallow water through a minimum draft of 1.60 meters.

Solar panels provide sufficient power to sail all day without a generator.
Atlantic crossing possible on the engine without refueling.
French canals and locks navigable, 4.99 meters wide and 3.42 meters creep height.
Intra Coastal Waterways in USA navigable by mast height of 20 meters (64 feet).

The ship is steel overlapped built, 15 mm keel, 8 mm underwater and 6 mm above water which provides a very strong construction and makes the ship ideal for sailing to arctic areas. The ship is equipped with many double systems such as water pressure pumps, electric steering pumps, hydraulic drive pumps, double autopilot, anchor winches with 3 anchors and much more.

The ship has a spacious closed wheelhouse and a large outside steering compartment. The comfortable salon exudes atmosphere with a beautiful soapstone wood heater. In the front two cabins are situated with a separate shower and a separate toilet. In the back is the master bedroom with its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The aft deck is well below a generous fixed awning. Here is under deck a large storage room for 4 bikes or a motorcycle. The decks are easily walkable and have a high bulwark. There is room for two boats on the foredeck. The VAT has been demonstrably paid and the CVO certificate has recently been extended.
