The Vigilate, this last built very robust Volkerak 40 with building number 007 is an excellent departure ship. She is well maintained but can use a brush of paint. Although her equipment is slightly dated, she is very well equipped. Inside she offers plenty of space and comfort and offers sleeping space for up to 8 people. The spacious and safe cockpit with steering wheel is sheltered and offers space for 4 to 6 people. The sprayhood is partly fixed. The salon offers a lot of livingspace. The leather-covered couches and the large table give it a homely feel. The galley has a 2 burner stove, an oven and a refrigerator. In the foreward cabin you will find 3 berths and a few storage cupboards. The wet room has a toilet and a shower. The aft cabin has a double bed and a single bed. The longbenches  in the saloon can be used as a sling cage. The windows are made of safety glass.
Everything is carried out in heavy and robust mahogany wood which gives the ship a warm homely appearance. The ship has a lot of storage space. The deck is easily accessible and the gangways are wide.
The underwater ship was completely sandblasted in 2014 and fitted with 6 layers of Epoxy.
The 75 HP strong Volvo Penta MD21A was completely overhauled 5 years ago.
The wooden masts and booms have been completely renewed in 2017.
The current sails are reasonable to good, the owner still has another set of good sails.
The ship is the first owners. The current berth in this beautiful harbour on the border of Portugal and Spain can be taken over. VAT is demonstrably paid.

Motor:

Volvo Penta MD21A, 75 hp, overhauled in 2013, construction number 3124386, built in 1979, diesel, consumption approx. 2.5 liters / hour, propeller shaft, indirect cooling, 3-blade propeller, steel fuel tank 2 x 300 liters, tachometer, running hours after revision approx. 250 hours, signal for oil pressure and temperature, fuel gauge glass.

Rigging:

Air draft 12.80 m, ketch rigged, new masts and booms (2017), mainsail (2004) with binding reef, furling genoa (2014), mizzensail, storm jib, gennaker (2004), spinnaker (2004), Furlex furling installation (2014), stainless steel rigging, partly fixed spray hood , boom tent, 2 winches, 3 mast winches.

Navigation and equipment:

1x starter battery 90 Ah, 1x service battery 135 Ah, 12Volt, shore power connection, inverter, battery charger, compass, Clipper depth sounder, GPS, 2 x VHF 1 x Sailor RT144 and 1 x Mtech SX35DSC, Sailor R104 S.P. board radio, Raytheon R10 radar, Sony radio / CD player, Autohelm 4000 autopilot, navigation lights, Solar panel (80 Watt), Bouvaan windvane control.

Gas and water:

Steel water tank 1000 liters, electric water pressure system, Geyser, outdoor shower, underwater toilet, waste water tank 80 liters (only for dishwashing water), refrigerator, 2-burner stove (gas), oven, gas bottle locker for 2 bottles with ventilation opening, gas heating.

Safety:

Fire extinguishers 2 (New), 6 person lifeboat last inspected October 2018, lifebuoy, Joon.
